We’re just so deluded about the socialist Obamacare plan…or are we?

Here’s a NYT op-ed about why opponents of the socialist Obamacare are so determined to be misinformed about the plan. Ideology can be so psychologically warping, you know. If the author of this piece thinks its critics have made any accurate claims, or that defenders of Obamacare have misrepresented anything, or that anything in the plan might even ambiguously support some of the “mistaken” beliefs about it, or that anything in the 2000+ page compilation of edicts might pave the way for further legislation and bureaucratic rules down the road that unambiguously support the worries of the critics, given the track record of government-run health care around the globe, he doesn’t say so. It seems that Democratic talking points are the gold standard. Perhaps we’re even wrong about the fact that if it is not repealed the legislation will financially penalize individuals who refuse to buy an approved health insurance policy?

  1. What a mess! Is it time to look for another country to emigrate to? Or does the USA remain still man’s last best hope?
