NotePub as blog

I recently investigated online Notepad equivalents and found NotePub, which lets me easily switch between private and public posts and therefore can function as a blog as well as a repository of private notes accessible from any computer. WordPress also lets you switch between private and public posting, but NotePub is more minimalist. It is also a little clunkier to read, since new posts always go to the bottom of the page, not the top of the page. However, you don’t have to scroll to get to the latest post; just click an arrow at the top of the page. There’s also a search function. My first few posts there are about NotePub and about Jarte and AbiWord, two streamlined (and free) alternatives to Microsoft Word.
